Seniors Living Community Planning Process
Welcome to an exciting new chapter for the Country Vincentia and St Georges Basin Country Club. Seven years ago, these two esteemed establishments came together in a bid to overcome the financial challenges Vincentia was facing to secure a brighter future. Despite our dedicated efforts, it’s clear that we need a fresh approach to ensure long-term sustainability. That’s why we’re thrilled to introduce a transformative project that promises to revitalize our beloved club.
St Georges Basin Country Club has entered into a 90-day heads of agreement with Oakstand to explore opportunities for an over-60s seniors living community at The Country Club Vincentia. During this period, Oakstand, together with a community consultation consultant, will conduct a series of workshops (in person and online) with golfers, neighboring property owners, Vincentia Residents and Ratepayers Association and Vincentia Matters.
The first overall briefing and consultation occurred on Wednesday, 26 June 2024. The presentation was provided by Oakstand Founder and CEO, David Cullen, with a discussion and Q&A session that followed. Below is the link to the presentation that was provided. More information will be provided on this webpage as the planning process progresses.
Next workshops to be held on 8 and 9 August 2024, with an online session on 13 August 2024 for those who cannot attend the in person session. Please contact Tania Parkes at taniaparkes@taniaparkes.com.au for more information or telephone 1800 172 173 (free call, mobile costs may apply).
