Latest Junior News
On Sunday 17th June 8 juniors competed in the Touchdown Helicopters Grange Junior Classic. It was a very testing day for all the golfers with gale force winds freezing temperatures and a very tough grange golf course.
Despite the tough conditions and a course that our juniors had not played before they all went outstanding and should be very proud of the way they represented themselves and their club. They all showed great ettiquette on and off the course matching that with good sportsmanship.
In the boys 18 hole stableford Daniel Marsden won with a fantastic score of 40 stableford points (off the mens tee markers), Chad Beehag was runner up to Daniel with another fantastic score of 39 points. These two boys absolutely blitzed the field was a fantastic effort.
Id like to make a special mention to Cooper Whalan who had his best score ever of 27 points great job fantastic improvement. In the 9 hole event Charlie Curyer finished in 2nd place with 56 gross he was 3 shots behind the winner.
The next event in this series is at Nowra Golf Club on the 22nd July.
